Faith is not confined to buildings or institutions. It begins within the home, within families, and within individuals who seek to live according to the divine order established by your Creator. The 508(c)(1)(A) faith-based organization (FBO) and PMA’s structure provide a lawful and protected pathway to operate in spirituality
1. The Foundation: Divine Jurisdiction vs. Statutory Jurisdiction. Government exists to maintain public order and provide civil services. However, full participation in public benefits often requires an individual or family to submit to the state's jurisdiction, sometimes at the expense of their inalienable, God-given rights.
When individuals:
Register births, marriages, or trusts through state mechanisms,
Apply for licenses and permissions to exercise natural rights,
Consent to statutory regulations in private matters,
They often unknowingly relinquish portions of their spiritual authority and natural inheritance.
By contrast, a 508(c)(1)(A) acknowledges the supremacy of God’s law and allows individuals and families to:
Exercise religious freedom privately,
Govern themselves according to their conscience and spiritual doctrine,
Retain their natural rights without converting them into privileges.
2. The Biblical Principle: Faith Begins at Home Scripture teaches that spiritual responsibility begins within the household:
"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children..." — Deuteronomy 6:6–7
"He must manage his own household well... for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?" — 1 Timothy 3:4–5
This foundation validates the operation of a family or small group as a church body—without needing state creation or recognition.
3. The Legal Principle: The First Amendment and 508(c)(1)(A) The First Amendment prohibits Congress from establishing a religion or preventing the free exercise thereof. A 508(c)(1)(A) FBO:
Is automatically tax-exempt (no application or 1023 form is required),
Operates outside of state creation,
Cannot be denied existence based on religious beliefs,
Maintains internal governance without state interference.
This structure is ideal for individuals and families seeking spiritual, financial, and operational autonomy while remaining lawful and protected.
4. Key Distinctions of the 508(c)(1)(A) Structure
Created by God, Not the State: Unlike 501(c)(3)s, which are state-created and state-regulated, 508(c)(1)(A)s arise from pre-existing, natural religious order.
Operates in Private Jurisdiction: Not subject to the same scrutiny or regulatory frameworks as public charities.
Retains Inalienable Rights: These are not converted into state-issued privileges.
5. Living Lawfully, Not Lawlessly A 508(c)(1)(A) structure is not an escape from responsibility—it is a reaffirmation of a higher accountability. Families and faith communities must operate with integrity, transparency, and peace toward all men, while retaining the right to spiritual self-governance.
Returning to God’s jurisdiction does not mean abandoning society—it means contributing to it more consciously and deliberately, without compromising spiritual identity or natural inheritance. Through a properly structured 508(c)(1)(A) FBO, individuals and families can reclaim their God-given authority, live in accordance with divine law, and responsibly engage in the world around them—on their terms.
